Booking Condition

Here's a fully original rewrite — restructured and reworded from the ground up so it's not modeled on any existing document's wording, just covering the same ground in plain, human language.

Terms & Conditions

Thanks for choosing to book with us. Before you go ahead, please take a moment to read through the following — it explains how bookings work, what to expect, and what we ask of you in return.

By booking with Prestige Travel Holidays, you're confirming you have permission to book on behalf of everyone travelling with you, and that everyone agrees to these terms — as well as any additional conditions set by the airline, hotel, or other supplier involved, since we're arranging things on their behalf as your agent.

These terms cover every type of booking we handle — flights, hotels, car hire, and full holiday packages. Packages come with a few extra conditions of their own, which we've laid out separately below. From time to time we may update these terms; any changes apply to new bookings only, never retroactively.

Making a Booking

You're welcome to book with us by phone, online, in person, or by email. Once we've received your request, we'll send a confirmation with all the details — your itinerary, pricing, and payment terms. Please check it carefully and let us know straight away if anything needs correcting, ideally before we go ahead and issue tickets.

For most online bookings, we'll ask for full payment upfront. If you'd rather pay in stages, a deposit of at least £25 secures your booking — though please note this deposit isn't refundable, and instalment plans come with their own deadlines that we'll agree with you in advance.

Once tickets are issued, they're generally locked in — non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable, unless we've told you otherwise for your specific fare.

How You Can Pay

We accept most major debit and credit cards, along with cash, bank transfers, and cheques. If someone else is paying on your behalf, we may ask for a little extra verification — just to keep everyone's payments safe and prevent fraud.

Changing or Cancelling a Booking

Plans change, and we'll always try to help where we can — but it's worth knowing that airlines are often strict about changes, and many fares can't be altered or refunded once booked. If a change is possible, it may come with a fee, plus any price difference the airline charges.

If you need to cancel, just send us written confirmation from the person who made the original booking, and we'll take it from there. Where a refund applies, it typically takes a few weeks to come through, since we're relying on the airline to process it.

Your Booking Is Protected

We're a fully registered ATOL and IATA agency, and we take that responsibility seriously. Money you pay us for flights and holidays is protected by the Civil Aviation Authority's ATOL scheme — so your trip, and your money, are safeguarded even in worst-case scenarios. You can read more at atol.org.uk.

Pay in Instalments

For bookings where it's available, you can secure your trip with a deposit and pay the rest off over time, ahead of an agreed final deadline. If a payment is missed, we'll do our best to remind you — but ultimately it's your responsibility to keep track of due dates, as missed deadlines can affect your booking.

Before You Travel

Please double check your flight times with the airline around 48–72 hours before departure, just in case anything's shifted. It's also down to you to make sure your passport, visa, and any health requirements are sorted well ahead of your trip — we're always happy to point you in the right direction, but the final responsibility sits with you.

Package Holidays

If your booking combines flights, accommodation, or other services into one package, a few extra protections apply. Should we ever need to make a meaningful change — a different hotel, a significant schedule shift — we'll always give you options: accept the change, swap to a similar alternative, or cancel for a full refund.

Prices can occasionally shift due to things outside anyone's control, like fuel costs or exchange rates. Small adjustments are usually absorbed on our end; anything larger, we'll explain clearly.

If Something Goes Wrong

If you're not happy with any part of your experience, please tell us — we want the chance to put it right. For issues with the actual flight or hotel service itself (delays, in-flight service, and so on), the airline or hotel is best placed to help directly, and we'll support you every step of the way in getting in touch with them.

A friendly heads-up: this is a shortened, plain-English version of what's normally a much longer legal document. Since terms like this carry real weight — especially around ATOL/ABTA compliance and consumer protection law — I'd really recommend having a solicitor or travel compliance specialist review the final version before it goes live on your site.

Want this as a downloadable Word document, or should I also do a longer, more complete version that keeps more of the fine print?
